ORDINANCE NO. 360-2025 authorizing the Director of the Department of Planning and Urban Development, or his designee, to enter into a contract or contracts for transportation planning services in order to carry out the intent and purpose of programs under the Federal Consolidated Planning Grant for the calendar year ending December 31, 2026, and in order to further the Akron Metropolitan Area Transportation Study’s (“AMATS”) goals and objectives of maintaining a cooperative, continuous, and comprehensive framework for making transportation investment decisions in the Akron metropolitan area; and declaring an emergency. Vote: 13-0.

 

 

ORDINANCE NO. 361-2025 authorizing the disposition of a portion of City-owned property (Summit County Parcel No. 6764372) to FF Reserve, LLC, dba Fleet Fast, in order to expand its operations and to reduce the cost to the City and taxpayers in maintaining vacant lots; determining said property is not needed for public use; and declaring an emergency. ORDINANCE NO. 362-2025 approving funding necessary to implement the agreement between the Fraternal Order of Police Akron Lodge #7 bargaining unit and the City of Akron in furtherance of Mayor Malik’s commitment to prioritizing public safety within the City of Akron; approving funding and collection necessary for adjustments in health care benefits for the Fraternal Order of Police Akron Lodge #7 bargaining unit, all while economically utilizing taxpayer dollars to provide quality services to Akron’s citizens; and declaring an emergency.
